10.30.10 – Week 7 weights from Wed updated below.  We will be deciding who gets which puppy this weekend and early this week so feel free to send an email with your personality and other character trait preferences if you have not already.  Puppies will go to the Vet on Tuesday for a health exam and first shots.  They are all very eager to meet their new families!

Jada is a Best of Breed winner.  She finished her championship with 3 majors.  Jada is full sibling, through a repeat breeding, of Max.

Max is a multiple Best In Show winner including Best In Show at the Great Western Terrier Assoc. (picture to the right, this is a very prestigious win). Max was great from the start, winning Best In Shows from the classes before he was even a finished Champion. His list of Best In Shows is endless and includes BIS at the 2007 Airedale Terrier National Specialty Montgomery Show. Max is the winningest Airedale Terrier in the history of the USA. Max has wonderful attitude, excellent ground-covering movement, beautiful head and expression, great coat. Max is rated 90th percentile, PennHIP. He is now retired with 52 Best In Show wins.

Striker is an American and Canadian Champion and he is also a Canadian Best In Show winner. His registered name is CH Penaire Star Struck at Woodcrest. He is an extremely accomplished dog. Striker won Best Opposite at the 2006 AKC/Eukanuba National Championship, attended the 2006 Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in NYC, and has invitations to the 2006 and 2007 Crufts Dog Show in England. Striker was ranked the #12 Airedale in the country for 2005 with only 3 months of active showing and ranked #2 in the country in 2006. He attained his Canadian Championship in a single weekend and topped it off with a Best in Show win. He has multiple Best of Breed and Group Placements in the US and in Canada. Striker finished his US Championship with big wins including Winner’s Dog at the New England Airedale Terrier Specialty and Best Of Breed at the 2005 Greenwich Dog Show supported entry by the Airedale Terrier Club of Metro New York. Striker is featured on the Airedale Terrier Club of America’s Breeders Airedale Showcase at http://www.airedale.org/. Striker has an outstanding pedigree, great hard coat, excellent temperament, and fantastic movement that sets him apart from other Airedales currently in the show ring.

Striker is co-owned by Jay Atwood of Woodcrest Airedales and Joan Clarke & William Clarke of Penaire Airedales who are also his breeders. He is handled by Adam Bernardin and Jamie Donelson, Professional Dog Handlers.

Striker is a Dallas son. Dallas is a Multiple Best in Show winner and American/Canadian Champion. Dallas was owner handled to 4 Best in Shows, 11 Group First placements, and multiple Group placements. Even as a veteran Dallas takes home big wins including Best Veteran and Award of Merit at Montgomery County Kennel Club and Best of Opposite at the Airedale National Floating Specialty.

• 10.14.10 - Week 5 weights updated.  Thanks to those who attending the dog show last weekend, it was wonderful to see you there.  Daddy Striker was Best Veteran at the Airedale National Specialty and made the cut for Best of Breed.  We are very proud!  You can see photos from the show on our Facebook page.
• 10.7.10 - New photos in the gallery and week 4 weights updated below. The puppies have started with mush meals which is the beginning of the transition to regular food and doing extremely well with it.  All the puppies took to the new food immediately and enthusiastically.
• 10.3.10 - A new Video taken while the puppies were a little sleep this time, but you can see how they are learning how to play.
• 10.1.10 – New photos added to the gallery and week 3 weights from Wed updated below.  Also, proud papa Striker was Best of Breed at the Northwestern Connecticut Dog Club last weekend.

• 9.9.10 – The puppies have arrived!!  We asked Jada for a beautiful boy and boy did she deliver!  The final count is 9 with 7 boys and 2 girls.  Mom and pups are all doing great!  Photos have been added to the gallery.  We will be contacting those on the wait list and taking deposits in the next couple days.
• 8.25.10 – Added some baby bump photos to the litter gallery.  Jada is a happy girl!
