Striker is an American and Canadian Champion and he is also a Canadian Best In Show winner. His registered name is CH Penaire Star Struck at Woodcrest. He is an extremely accomplished dog. Striker won Best Opposite at the 2006 AKC/Eukanuba National Championship, attended the 2006 Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in NYC, and has invitations to the 2006 and 2007 Crufts Dog Show in England. Striker was ranked the #12 Airedale in the country for 2005 with only 3 months of active showing and ranked #2 in the country in 2006. He attained his Canadian Championship in a single weekend and topped it off with a Best in Show win. He has multiple Best of Breed and Group Placements in the US and in Canada. Striker finished his US Championship with big wins including Winner's Dog at the New England Airedale Terrier Specialty and Best Of Breed at the 2005 Greenwich Dog Show supported entry by the Airedale Terrier Club of Metro New York. Striker is featured on the Airedale Terrier Club of America’s Breeders Airedale Showcase at http://www.airedale.org/. Striker has an outstanding pedigree, great hard coat, excellent temperament, and fantastic movement that sets him apart from other Airedales currently in the show ring.

Striker is co-owned by Jay Atwood of Woodcrest Airedales and Joan Clarke & William Clarke of Penaire Airedales who are also his breeders. He is handled by Adam Bernardin and Jamie Donelson, Professional Dog Handlers.

Striker is a Dallas son. Dallas is a Multiple Best in Show winner and American/Canadian Champion. Dallas was owner handled to 4 Best in Shows, 11 Group First placements, and multiple Group placements. Even as a veteran Dallas takes home big wins including Best Veteran and Award of Merit at Montgomery County Kennel Club and Best of Opposite at the Airedale National Floating Specialty.

• 5.8.06 - Added 3 week weights. All puppies very active, walking, itching ears with back legs, vocalizing, just being Airedale-y in general. Will introduce puppy mush meals over coming week.
• 5.4.06 - Eyes opening. Blue boy on day 16, Yellow girl on day 17, Pink and No Collar on day 18.
• 5.1.06 - Wormed.
• 4.21.06 - Tails and dew claws done.
• 4.17.06 - Alicia's puppies have arrived!
• 4.12.06 - Please remember, we do not accept visitors to see the puppies until they are 3 weeks old.
• 3.22.06 - Alicia's sonogram showed puppies all of equal size and all with strong heartbeats. We won't know the number of girls and boys until they are born.
• 2.16.06 - Breedings taking place 2.16, 2.17, 2.18 and 2.20. With a gestation of 62 days from the first breeding that gives us an expectant due date of April 19th. We will perform an ultrasound at 30 days to confirm pregnancy.
• 2.3.06 - Progesterone testing has started with Alicia. This testing provides guidance on when the most effective time for the breeding will be. When the time is right we will have Striker collected and perform the AI. We will perform an ultrasound at 30 days to confirm if the breeding took.
